Valrhona, Inc.: Website Accessibility Policy (January 1, 2020) Valrhona, Inc. has an ongoing commitment to achieving the highest levels of satisfaction for all aspects of its customers’ shopping experiences, both in its stores and online. As part of these efforts, Valrhona, Inc. is dedicated to offering a quality shopping experience to customers with disabilities that is full and equal to that provided to customers without disabilities. To assist in achieving this goal with respect to its websites (the “Websites”), Valrhona, Inc. has adopted the following Website Accessibility Policies (the “Policies”) which are set forth in detail below. Valrhona, Inc.’s website shall be designed, developed, and operated in substantial conformance with generally recognized and accepted guidelines and/or standards for website accessibility (the “Standards”). While these Standards may change and/or evolve over time, they are currently the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Levels A and AA (“WCAG 2.1”). The following specific steps shall be taken to help assist Valrhona, Inc. in achieving and maintaining substantial compliance with WCAG 2.1 for its Websites. Website accessibility shall be given serious consideration at all stages of the Websites’ design, development, and operation process starting from inception and shall include providing accessible access to the Websites’ privacy policies, terms of use, and notices; Employees with responsibilities relating to the design, development, and/or operation of the Websites shall be provided with and/or given access to website accessibility training that is appropriate for the employee’s specific job obligations; All RFP, SOW, and contracts involving the selection and retention of third-parties involved with the design, development, and/or operation of the Websites shall expressly require work to be conducted in substantial compliance with the Standards (i.e., currently WCAG 2.1); The Websites shall be subjected to a variety of website accessibility auditing/review techniques (e.g., human code review, human review with assistive technology, automated scanner review) at reasonable intervals to assess the Websites’ ongoing level of compliance; and Feedback regarding the Websites’ accessibility obtained from both internal and external sources (including customers) shall be promptly given the appropriate level of consideration. The Policies primarily contain general information and guidelines and are not intended to address all the possible applications of, or exceptions to, the general policies, practices, and procedures described. This is particularly true because of the individualized nature of inquiries required to assess requests for accommodations and modifications to policies, practices, and procedures, on the basis of a disability. The Policies may be modified, augmented, or discontinued from time to time as appropriate and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes governing accessibility. Valrhona, Inc. will update the Policies to reflect material changes as they occur. If an employee has any concerns about the interpretation/application of the Policies, s/he should contact valrhonachocolate-compliance@savencia.com or by phone at: (718) 522-7001
