About the Académie Culinaire de France
Founded in 1883 by Chef Joseph Favre, the Académie Culinaire de France (ACF) is the world’s oldest professional chefs’ association. With more than 1,000 members across the globe, including chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels, cruise lines, airlines, and MOF recipients, the Académie promotes culinary excellence, education, and the preservation of gastronomic heritage.
The American & Canadian delegation, representing over 300 chefs, plays a central role in advancing these values and in organizing competitions such as the Americas Selection of the Bakery World Cup.
