Comerciliazadora Semillas Aldama is part of the CICAS group, a company specializing in the production and sale of cocoa, tropical fruits and pepper. Founded in 2006, at a time when Tabasco's cocoa and wider cocoa sector was disappearing and in need of rescue, Semillas Aldama's mission is to preserve the identity and cocoa cultivation of Tabasco. Today, the company works alongside producers, providing a variety of services including high quality seedlings, technical support and centralized fermentation and drying processes in Aldama's dedicated center. Thanks to its expertise, CICAS has managed to create a loyal network of cocoa producers. The five- year partnership agreement recently signed between Valrhona and Semillas Aldama will allow us to build a stronger future for this young cocoa sector.
